Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how PostDwell ("PostDwell", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use our website and application (the "Service"). PostDwell helps local businesses manage their online presence — creating content and publishing it to the social and business networks they choose to connect.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your email address, the business name and details you provide, and authentication data needed to sign you in.
Connected accounts and platform data
When you choose to connect a third-party network (for example a Facebook Page or Instagram professional account), we receive, with your authorization, information needed to operate the connection: the page or account identifier and name, an access token that lets us publish and read on your behalf, and the permissions (scopes) you granted. We only request the permissions required to provide the features you use.
Content you create
Posts, captions, images, media and scheduling information that you create or upload in the Service.
Usage data
Basic technical information such as device, browser and log data used to operate, secure and improve the Service.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the Service — publishing the content you create to the networks you connected, and showing you your connected accounts and their performance.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To operate, maintain, troubleshoot and improve the Service.
- To communicate with you about your account, billing and service-related matters.
3. We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or the data from your connected accounts to third parties. We do not use data obtained through platform connections (such as Meta) for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the features you requested.
4. Platform data and Meta
For accounts you connect through Meta (Facebook and Instagram), our use, storage and transfer of any data received complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We use Meta platform data solely to deliver the connection features you enabled (such as publishing a post to your Page or reading its engagement). We do not transfer that data to any party except as necessary to provide the Service, as required by law, or as you direct.
5. How we store and protect your data
Your data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with access controls and row-level security so that each business can only access its own data. Access tokens for your connected accounts are encrypted at rest and are never exposed to the browser or to other tenants. All publishing and platform calls run on our servers, not in your browser.
6. Sharing with service providers
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the Service (for example cloud hosting, database, and payment processing). They process data only on our behalf, under contract, to provide their service to us — not for their own purposes.
7. Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect any connected account at any time, which removes the stored token for it. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see our Data Deletion instructions.
8. Revoking access
You can revoke PostDwell's access to a connected platform directly from that platform at any time. For Meta, go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations, select PostDwell, and remove it. You can also disconnect any account from within the PostDwell app.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
10. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service.
